We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to support our Group Division Hydro department in the commissioning of hydro power generators and balance of plant electrical equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators/motors with nominal voltage higher than 1kV, including auxiliaries and excitation systems.
  • Commission electrical balance of plant equipment such as power distribution boards, transformers, switchgear, and control and protection devices.
  • Perform fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality requirements.
  • Handover equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.
Your Profile
  • Completed education in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators, electrical machines, switchgear, transformers, excitation, and/or protection systems is an advantage.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience is acceptable.
  • Fluent English language skills, with German and other languages being an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office.
  • Ability to work worldwide, with readiness for short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, with loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
