Your Responsibilities
The Cloud Infrastructure Cost Transparency (CICT) division delivers essential services regarding SAP's infrastructure capacity, utilization, and billing.
As a senior member of our agile team, you will take on responsibilities related to:
- Leading initiatives from a Developer & DevOps perspective concerning our internal product, Cloud Billing & Reporting.
- Assuming technical project leadership for medium-sized projects with a customer-centric approach.
- Organizing and facilitating workshops with clients to understand their requirements and convert them into technical work packages.
- Leveraging your extensive experience to influence architectural decisions.
- Developing semantic and technical concepts as well as implementing backlog items with a comprehensive approach.
- Ensuring system integrity and high data quality by managing operational shifts and establishing self-healing mechanisms.
- Documenting and aligning semantics, functionalities, processes, and concepts.
- Participating in our scrum team and mentoring junior colleagues and interns.
- Promoting continuous enhancement of the product and operational processes.
Your Qualifications
Essential skills:
- Innovative, customer-oriented, and Agile mindset.
- Highly motivated to improve areas within and associated with your primary responsibilities.
- Quick learner, eager to acquire and disseminate knowledge.
- Educational background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Informatics.
- Proficient in task organization for yourself and the team, capable of multitasking, and thriving under pressure.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal in English), presentation, and analytical abilities.
- Strong expertise in Git, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Cloud Computing, Kubernetes, and Agile Software Development.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Developer/DevOps Expert.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with IaaS platforms (such as AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with HANA.
- Knowledge of ITIL V3/V4 is advantageous.
- Project Management experience.
