Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to join our MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in various projects, supporting the team in their daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluation Management: Assist in designing and implementing evaluations to assess the impact of our projects.
- Updating internal monitoring systems: Ensure that our monitoring systems are up-to-date and accurate, providing valuable insights for our team.
- Updating Internal Knowledge Management systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our knowledge management systems, ensuring that our team has access to relevant information and resources.
- Meeting, Workshop and Event-Management: Support the planning and organization of meetings, workshops, and events, ensuring their smooth execution.
- Creating/editing presentations: Develop high-quality presentations to communicate our project results and impact to stakeholders.
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled at a university/college, ideally in the field of social sciences, economics, or international relations.
- You have excellent computer skills, especially in Office applications such as MS Teams & Sharepoint.
- You are characterized by a high degree of organizational diligence as well as a conscientious, precise, and reliable way of working.
- You enjoy activities in the context of development policy, including the analysis of data and visualization of results.
- Very good spoken and written English and French language skills are required, German language skills are an asset.
