About the VIE Program
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) initiative is an international program backed by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, designed to provide young professionals with valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business capacity. We are looking for enthusiastic graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (including Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein). Interested candidates who meet these criteria are encouraged to register before their 28th birthday on the designated website. This opportunity could be the beginning of a fulfilling career with Airbus in a dynamic and innovative industry.

Your Work Environment

At our Donauwörth facility, situated along the Danube River, we develop helicopters from conception to a fully operational product. Witness the aircraft take off and land at our on-site testing airfield.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the advancement of the Safety Management System (SMS) and its associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in establishing and managing the Aviation Safety Center in Donauwörth.
  • Support and coordinate training initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of promotional materials (e.g., posters, videos, newsletters).
  • Maintain and enhance collaborative tools for the EQB aviation safety management.
  • Assist in process improvement activities, including planning and monitoring process confirmations and follow-ups in subsidiaries.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A university degree in engineering, preferably in aeronautics, or a related field.
  • Some practical experience with European aviation regulations (EASA) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite).
  • Strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
