Shipping Operations Specialist (f/m/d)
We are looking for a Shipping Operations Specialist (f/m/d) to join our logistics team, contributing to the efficiency of our shipping processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaising with various internal departments to ensure seamless operations. Adhering to safety regulations and operational protocols. Conducting internal assessments and compliance checks. Providing training to staff on quality assurance practices. Recognizing areas for enhancement and executing strategies for ongoing process improvement. Evaluating and tracking key performance metrics to support operational efficiency. Managing inquiries and resolving issues effectively, ensuring thorough documentation and interdepartmental collaboration. Handling ticket requests across multiple systems. Serving as a point of contact for customer service, transportation providers, and customs inquiries. Ensuring proper management of goods shipment. Engaging in written and verbal communication with freight forwarders. Overseeing delivery timelines and addressing complaints. Processing shipping requests and preparing necessary delivery and customs documentation. Monitoring deadlines, payments, and pending paperwork. Efficiently managing inquiries and issues, ensuring comprehensive documentation and cross-departmental collaboration.CANDIDATE PROFILE
Completed commercial training or logistics education, preferably with experience in warehouse operations and problem resolution. Familiarity with customs procedures is a plus. Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and inventory management systems. Strong numerical aptitude and analytical capabilities. Ability to work independently, with a structured and responsible approach. Excellent proficiency in German and good command of English. Adaptability and a proactive attitude.
