Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our growing Financial Planning and Analysis team at Agile Robots SE in Munich. The FP&A team plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality consolidated financial reports, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve our goals.
Your Responsibilities- Prepare consolidated financial statements for national and international offices, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reporting, taking inputs from across the finance function, and using Excel skills to analyze data, investigate issues, and build accurate reports for monthly/quarterly/annual submissions.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, make forecasts, and assess the company's financial health.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Maintain the accuracy of intercompany loans/related party balances and transactions across the group.
- Act as a point of contact for finance teams for reporting issues and queries.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including collaborating with other departments to gather relevant information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial projections.
- Improve processes and outputs to ensure they remain fit for the future.
We are looking for a candidate with a higher education diploma in finance/accounting or a lower qualification compensated by relevant experience. Ideally, you should have at least 4 years of experience in finance and accounting or a finance reporting function, demonstrating delivery of information to high-quality standards. You should also have knowledge of international accounting standards as well as German commercial code (HGB) and their implementation within an organization. Excellent command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, is required. You should also have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and a very good command of German (minimum level B2). Attention to detail and strong deadline management skills are essential. You should be able to work independently and under pressure, and be a strong team player able to communicate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Flexibility to travel in Germany and abroad is also required.
