Position Overview- Diagnosing and Resolving Issues: Identify, troubleshoot, and document technical issues faced by end-users related to desktop support, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
- Infrastructure Management: Provide administrative support for the IT infrastructure and deliver on-site assistance as per a scheduled agreement.
- Software Troubleshooting: Address software-related problems, perform system reimaging, and manage backup and restoration of settings along with associated system administration tasks.
- Support Request Management: Categorize and prioritize support and service requests from end-users effectively.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory assessments.
- Training and Guidance: Educate and guide staff on the effective use of hardware and software.
- System Upgrades: Execute upgrades on workstations and printers as necessary.
- Collaboration with Procurement: Work alongside the procurement team to acquire necessary hardware and software.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to Work in Shifts: Availability for shift work and on-call duties is essential.
- Accountability: A strong sense of responsibility is required.
- Independent Problem-Solving: Must demonstrate a self-directed, solution-oriented, and goal-focused work ethic.
- Service Orientation: High levels of service and customer orientation along with excellent communication skills are necessary.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
