Pipe Fitter for Industrial Installations

As a mechanic for industrial pipe systems, you will be responsible for:

• Independently installing pipe systems in industrial facilities according to isometric drawings
• Calculating pipe systems, measuring, and cutting to size
• Sealing pipe and form pieces - aligning and leveling pipe pieces
• Welding or screwing or gluing pipe systems
• Assembling pipe system components
• Inspecting and measuring completed workpieces
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation
• Working independently, with a focus on quality, time, and adherence to instructions, technical drawings, and/or welding instructions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed apprenticeship in a metalworking trade, such as mechanical engineering, industrial mechanics, or metalworking, or several years of experience as a pipe fitter in the industrial pipe installation sector
• Comprehensive knowledge of isometric drawings
• Basic knowledge of welding
• Safe handling of measuring instruments
• A forklift and crane certificate or a certificate for operating a mobile elevated work platform would be an advantage - can also be obtained in-house
• Responsibility, attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role
• Good knowledge of safety, health, and environmental protection
