As a Senior Data Governance Solutions Specialist at Databricks, you will play a key role in guiding customers in adopting Unity Catalog and Delta Sharing solutions. You will work closely with Solution Architects to provide technical leadership and support customers in implementing data governance solutions.
The Impact You Will Have:- Provide strategic guidance to customers on Unity Catalog and Delta Sharing implementations.
- Develop and implement data governance models that support access control, data isolation, and data sharing.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to design and develop custom architectures for data governance solutions.
- Contribute to the development of tutorials and training programs to improve community adoption.
- Participate in the Databricks Community to share knowledge and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role with expertise in data governance or data management.
- Experience with cloud governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview, Atlan, Apache Atlas, Privacera.
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance solutions in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
- Production programming experience in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
- 2 years of customer-facing experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience.
This role can be remote from Germany, but we prefer that you be located in the job listing area and can travel up to 30% when needed.
