ROLE OVERVIEW
The Global Principal Enterprise Architect – "Architecting for AI Lead" (f/m/d) is a pivotal role responsible for spearheading the development and worldwide implementation of AI-centric enterprise architecture services that yield tangible business advantages. As a transformation ally for clients and a visionary in AI architecture, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Formulating and scaling AI architectural strategies that align with enterprise objectives and priorities across various sectors, establishing global benchmarks and best practices while driving measurable business results.
  • Advising clients on the integration of scalable AI solutions within their cloud frameworks to ensure uniformity and significant impact.
  • Working closely with select C-level executives to guarantee that AI architectures are strategically aligned with corporate goals, enhancing value and performance.
  • Identifying and developing risk management strategies in AI adoption, ensuring secure, reliable, and effective AI implementations that deliver sustainable business outcomes.
  • Creating and sustaining scalable AI architectural methodologies that address both global and regional requirements, ensuring consistent delivery of business value across different markets.
  • Effectively articulating the value proposition of AI architectures, guiding clients in recognizing and quantifying the business benefits derived from AI integration.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Transformation, Architectural & Solution Expertise:

  • Proven experience in delivering enterprise business transformation initiatives and aligning client priorities with targeted architecture, strategic roadmaps, and business benefits.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the SAP Solution Portfolio, particularly in translating intricate business processes into actionable strategies that generate measurable value, especially through Embedded AI capabilities.
  • Strategic insight into BTP functionalities, focusing on deriving business value through Extensibility, Integrations, and Automations via the BTP AI Foundation.
  • Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, with familiarity in SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP's Business AI roadmap, including a robust network within the Business AI Organization to identify use cases and pilot AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years in client-facing roles, ideally within field positions (CS&D and customer success, such as Project Manager or Architect), with experience in comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in establishing and guiding field communities, with a specific focus on nurturing AI innovation and architectural best practices.
  • Experience in strategically aligning architectural decisions with business outcomes, employing a robust methodology that integrates architectural principles with investment considerations to optimize ROI from technology investments.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English) at senior management and C-levels, both within IT teams and across business functions.
  • Proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • A mindset geared towards Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) are beneficial.
