TEAM INTRODUCTION
Become a part of our vibrant global Enterprise Architects team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery division. We serve as strategic partners to regional Enterprise Architect teams, assisting our clients in navigating digital transformation through innovative SAP technologies. Our focus includes advancing the RISE with SAP initiative, endorsing Clean Core principles, and facilitating the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). We engage with customers on a global scale, addressing critical situations in close collaboration with regional teams. Our strength lies in our ability to tackle complex and undefined challenges, guiding our clients toward effective solutions.
YOUR ROLE
As a Chief Enterprise Architect (f/m/d), you will create a detailed enterprise architecture framework for our clients that aligns with their strategic objectives. You will collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner and lead initiatives such as:
- Guiding clients through their cloud transformation journey, emphasizing adoption and scaling.
- Offering enterprise architecture insights utilizing RISE with SAP methodologies and Clean Core principles to maximize the benefits of SAP's cloud capabilities.
- Acting as a Transformation Partner for C-level executives, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
- Facilitating adoption while identifying and addressing technical risks.
- Aligning clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP adoption, and advocating for SAP best practices.
- Providing contextual insights to all teams, enhancing customer engagement and experience.
- Communicating the value of the proposed target architecture and guiding the realization of identified benefits.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud environments for critical business processes.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Skills in Transformation, Architecture & Solutions:
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise transformation initiatives and aligning client priorities with target architecture and roadmaps.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
- Experience with Business Technology Platform components, including application development, automation, data analytics, integration, and AI, along with practical experience in S/4HANA applications.
- Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
- Understanding of SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business operations.
- Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies.
Essential Requirements:
- 15+ years in customer-facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with a background in comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution environments.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, with experience in BTP components and services.
- Technical knowledge or experience with S/4HANA applications.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in English at senior management and C-levels, across IT and business functions.
- Proficiency in German is advantageous.
- A mindset geared towards Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.
- Familiarity with on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
- Professional training and certifications, such as SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect, or TOGAF.
