Data Warehousing Project Manager - TS/SCI Required

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of data warehouse professionals in the development and enhancements of the data warehouse user interface.
  • Work in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
  • Establish user requirements and create new standards and procedures related to end-user and internal interface development.
  • Collaborate with the Data Architect on technical issues and system architecture definition.
  • Translate high-level work plans into detailed assignments for team members.
  • Monitor the status of assignments and review work for completion and quality.
  • Install, operate, and maintain network and storage appliances.
  • Install patches and perform system updates.
  • Manage storage allocation, space, and replication strategies.
  • Analyze and resolve problems related to storage systems and network storage solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and restore complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networks.
  • Recover data when required.
  • Provide recommendations on storage upgrades and support project integration as required.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NAS protocols and solutions.
  • Create and configure volumes, disk shelves, and RAID groups.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Required Skillset:
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and support.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of VMware vSphere.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of IP-based storage technologies.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software.
    • Knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Required Certification(s):
    • DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
    • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
    • Required Computing Environment (CE) certification: NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIP) or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA); NetApp Certified Support Engineer, or Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA), or Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) - Administration of Veritas NetBackup, or Dell EMC Expert - Implementation Engineer, or HPE ASE - Storage Solutions Architect, or HPE Master ASE - Storage Solutions Architect.
    • Certifications are subject to change based on contractual requirements.
  • Location: On Customer Site.
  • Additional:
    • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract.
    • Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity.
    • Travel may be required to support the mission.
