About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Reporting Manager to join our team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing the company's financial performance and assisting in the preparation of our consolidated annual and quarterly reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance against business plan and identify areas for improvement.
- Gain a deep understanding of movements in the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and non-financial key performance indicators.
- Assist and coordinate in the Group Month-End Closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Act as the owner of subsidiaries' monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet reviews, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Support the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of disclosure notes for annual and half-year financial statements, providing clear and concise explanations of complex financial concepts.
- Conduct research on special accounting topics, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in financial reporting.
- Assist in improvements in group processes and policies, with a focus on financial tools and processes used in reporting, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends.
- Experience with financial tools and processes, including financial reporting software and accounting systems.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in group accounting, finance, or auditing, with a strong understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Fluency in English is required, with native German language skills preferred.
