About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at MINE Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, delegating tasks and coordinating with service staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus, establish preparation guidelines, and train staff on new recipes and techniques.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients, as well as observing supplier conditions, prices, and delivery terms.
  • Participate in the a la carte service, ensuring exceptional customer experience and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar position, with a strong background in high-volume upscale restaurant environments.
  • Passion for the culinary arts, with a desire to continuously improve cooking skills and knowledge of Italian cuisine.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages such as German being an advantage.
