Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Bauer Media Group. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our editorial teams make informed decisions using data.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with editorial and audience management teams to develop content strategies and monetization plans.
- Enable teams to make data-driven decisions by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Translate data requirements into product needs for the editorial and audience management teams.
- Develop analytics solutions to support decision-making, from hypothesis generation to monitoring.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create visualizations for exploration and reporting.
- Connect data from various sources, working closely with data product managers and engineers.
- At least 3 years of experience in analytics.
- Excellent SQL skills, as well as good knowledge of Python or R and BI solutions (e.g., PowerBI).
- Solid knowledge of statistics and ability to apply it to business problems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex problems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.
- Background in working with online marketing data or similar, with experience in publishing being a plus.
