Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Lead Project Engineer: BIM Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team at DB InfraGO AG. This role is pivotal in managing significant infrastructure projects and ensuring the effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Your primary responsibility will be to enhance data utilization for quality assurance and digital project management of BIM services throughout the planning, execution preparation, and realization phases of the eastern project section.
  • You will assist in the ongoing development of application cases and a multi-tier quality assurance system, including a delivery matrix and reporting framework to ensure compliance with BIM standards across all trades.
  • You will also oversee data processes related to digital plan approvals, document management, and 3D model linking within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • The digital dissemination of information to our planners and construction firms will be managed by you.
  • You will contribute to the further enhancement of 4D and 5D BIM, with a particular emphasis on model-based construction accounting.

Your Profile:

  • A successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Informatics, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with BIM application software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and iTWO 5D is desirable.
  • A passion for working with BIM, a solid understanding of digital interconnections, and the ability to think and act across disciplines are essential qualities.
  • You enjoy taking initiative and are enthusiastic about collaboration and the challenges presented by large-scale projects.
  • An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will complete your profile.
