Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Mynaric AG. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines, setting up production processes, and ensuring high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines, including milling, turning, and grinding, to produce precision optics and other metal components.
- Set up and run production processes, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Perform complex set-ups and operate machines with minimal supervision, under the direction of engineering or area supervision.
- Read technical drawings and apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure accurate production.
- Record inspection data, labor hours, and job information in manufacturing systems.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to cleaning schedules and inventory control.
- Use manual metrology and inspection equipment, with experience or training in state-of-the-art metrology equipment.
- Vocational degree or apprenticeship in machining or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in manual machining or metal fabrication manufacturing production.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Work and Excel, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. German language knowledge is a plus.
