Rates & Credit Trading Systems

The Rates & Credit Suite of Applications plays a crucial role in the daily operations of Fixed Income Traders and Middle Office teams worldwide. These systems cater to the comprehensive needs of traders, enabling liquidity provision to leading multi-dealer platforms, managing client trading requests, and overseeing trade execution and servicing throughout their extensive life cycles. Our product offerings range from Bonds to REPO, IRS, and Exotic Portfolios, requiring sophisticated technology solutions to ensure traceability and recoverability.

As a Senior Java Developer (f/m/x), you will enhance the Rates & Credit Platform, elevating Deutsche Bank's electronic trading and trade processing capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design technical solutions for the implementation of new business initiatives.
  • Develop code in accordance with established architectural patterns.
  • Provide Level 3 support for the platform, including analysis and resolution of production issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve platform functionality and processes.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of core Java, including collections, multi-threading, and networking, with several years of practical experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing distributed concurrent applications.
  • Familiarity with messaging solutions such as JMS, Solace, or IBM MQ is advantageous.
  • Understanding of SQL relational database solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
