Key ResponsibilitiesYour contributions will include:
- Leading the design, development, fine-tuning, and deployment of large language models and generative AI systems tailored for the Rhesis AI platform.
- Applying MLOps/LLMOps best practices to enhance the machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion to model deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Conducting research and development to replicate cutting-edge ML models and publications, alongside pursuing independent research initiatives (publication opportunities available).
- Designing and optimizing near-real-time and real-time data pipelines for effective data processing.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into current systems and workflows.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in AI, ML, and NLP to guide strategic decisions and drive product innovation.
- Leading research initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in AI development and implementation.
You are an ideal candidate if you possess:
Essential Skills
- Practical experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI.
- A strong foundation in Python programming, ML frameworks (JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers, Scikit-Learn), and MLOps methodologies.
- Understanding of ML principles and software engineering best practices, including testing protocols.
- Experience in creating robust, production-ready code.
- Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and containerization techniques.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in researching, developing, and/or replicating state-of-the-art ML models and publications.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation (e.g., Infrastructure as Code).
- Building near-real-time and real-time data pipelines (e.g., using Spark and/or Databricks).
- Knowledge of cloud-native solutions (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Experience in constructing and fine-tuning deep learning models for deployment and inference.
Overall Competencies
- Strong software engineering skills with the capability to design sophisticated software systems, curate datasets, and train models for scientific applications.
- Proficiency in Python programming and developing production-ready code for data-centric applications.
- Expertise in system design and problem-solving, including the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions.
- Familiarity with contemporary development practices and tools such as version control, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native solutions (e.g., Azure or AWS).
- Experience in constructing real-time data pipelines, natural language processing, container-based development, and infrastructure automation.
