Your Responsibilities- Define and implement strategies to achieve goals and enhance the product range.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of buyers and staff within the product category.
- Maintain and expand excellent supplier relationships to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders within our corporate group.
- Monitor and analyze relevant metrics, continuously improving processes within your category.
- Represent home24 at various partner meetings, trade fairs, and events in the Home & Living sector.
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, category management, or business development, preferably in the furniture or interior design sector.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.
- Strong knowledge of the furniture market, its manufacturers, and suppliers, along with a solid understanding of product trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data for informed decision-making.
- Fluent in German and English.
