Your Responsibilities
Are you enthusiastic about designing software solutions that captivate users?
User Experience and AI are pivotal focuses for SAP. As leaders in Application Lifecycle Management, we are responsible for developing the SAP Cloud ALM platform, which encompasses applications and services that support the entire application lifecycle for all SAP solutions. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in the RISE Customer Delivery Initiative.

We seek a skilled, passionate, and innovative UX/UI Specialist to join our global UX Design Team, advancing our solutions to the next level of design, with a strong emphasis on user experience throughout the product lifecycle while leveraging AI technology.

In this position, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and fellow designers to craft user-centered and AI-enhanced solutions that fulfill customer needs and expectations.
  • Steer product direction from a design standpoint and contribute to the SAP design system.
  • Participate in all stages of the design-led development process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing.
  • Have the chance to learn from and collaborate with other UX experts across SAP.
  • Engage with end users and clients to comprehend their requirements and collaborate on concepts for new functionalities.
  • Demonstrate and validate primary user flows in interactive prototypes and conduct rapid learning cycles to refine these concepts.
  • Effectively communicate design choices and research insights to diverse audiences, including engineers, managers, and clients.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, User Experience Design, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in application or system design for software solutions, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Mural, Sketch, etc.
  • Familiarity with the SAP Fiori design system and guidelines.
  • Experience in user research methodologies, including generative and evaluative methods, and the ability to apply user research at various stages of the product development cycle, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
  • Ability to analyze research data to identify user needs, behaviors, and challenges.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to integrate research findings into design solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest UX research and design trends, incorporating best practices into your work.
  • Exceptional skills in visualizing and articulating your concepts and ideas.
  • A willingness to continuously expand your knowledge of design methodologies, technologies, emerging trends, and business scenarios.
  • A team player with strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
