Position Overview
Our Renewables division in Düsseldorf is seeking a skilled professional to take on a pivotal role in our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and execution of acquisitions for early-stage renewable development projects and manage the disposal of portfolios exceeding 0.5-1 GW annually.
  • Oversee internal project teams and coordinate with external advisors to address project challenges and mitigate risks, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Negotiate transaction structures and commercial terms with relevant stakeholders and counterparties.
  • Manage joint ventures, partnership frameworks, and acquired entities effectively.
  • Foster optimal collaboration within the Renewables team, which includes developers, engineers, offtake managers, market analysts, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Significant relevant experience in commercial renewables, corporate M&A, corporate finance, or similar roles.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, along with experience in leading project teams.
  • Strong understanding of the economic drivers behind utility-scale solar PV and wind assets.
  • A creative, open-minded individual with a good sense of humor.
  • A proven track record of international experience and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
