About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Interxion. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform infrastructure-related activities to ensure reliable and efficient operation of technical infrastructure
- Take responsibility for assigned maintenance and repair works
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and external suppliers
- Monitor and document technical operations and administration
- Provide excellent customer service and support
Requirements
- Education to a vocational level in a technical field (electrician, HVAC Technician); craftsman exam is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in an electro technical or industrial/mechanical environment
- Skilled in maintenance of large-scale electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems operations
- Experience with technical monitoring, documentation, and administration (e.g. SLA tracking)
- Basic knowledge in subcontractor coordination and customer interfacing
- Advanced in German and English
