Data Center Operations Specialist

Your Role

As a Data Center Technician at Digital Realty, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our technical infrastructure. This includes performing infrastructure-related activities in a 3-shift operation, taking responsibility for assigned maintenance and repair works, and coordinating and supervising subcontractors and external suppliers.

Your Profile

  • Education to a vocational level in a technical field, such as electrical engineering or HVAC technology, with a craftsman's exam being an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience in an electro-technical or industrial/mechanical environment.
  • Skills in maintaining large-scale electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems operations.
  • Experience with technical monitoring, documentation, and administration, including SLA tracking.
  • Basic knowledge of subcontractor coordination and customer interfacing.
  • Advanced proficiency in German and English.
