Property Management Team Leader

Objective: Accountable for overseeing the execution of supply transactions for various classes of property and for the acquisition of locally sourced items. Acts as the Primary Hand Receipt Holder for all contractor-related property management activities.

Direct Reports: Property Analyst Lead, Property Analyst, Supply Technician Lead, Supply Technician, Laborer, Warehouse Worker, and Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

Key Responsibilities: To excel in this role, an individual must effectively manage the following responsibilities:

Guides and supervises team members in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed within established deadlines. Oversees a skilled team that encompasses a variety of functions within property management. Assesses team performance, aligning objectives with outcomes during evaluations. Implements disciplinary measures or corrective actions as necessary. Recommends the termination or non-renewal of contracts for leased equipment when warranted. Completes performance evaluations as required. Conducts random quality audits of the property accountability process, ensuring all data entries are accurate and supported by necessary documentation. Identifies personnel needing additional training or reassignment. Aids in the creation and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Plans related to property management requirements. Serves as the primary liaison with government representatives and senior officials, providing oversight of contract property functions and Government Furnished Property (GFP). Manages inventory of office supplies, clothing, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), directing local purchasing actions as needed. Collaborates with Supply Support Activities (SSAs) for requisitioning and return processes. Maintains accurate accounting records related to supply management. Supports the General Manager on all property program matters concerning supply integration and acquisition processes. Keeps track of inventory and records for shipping materials and supplies. Conducts monthly reconciliations of document registers unless otherwise directed. Ensures compliance with contract provisions related to property management by adhering to established guidelines. Advises the General Manager on all supply and property-related concerns that may impact operations. Provides timely logistical support to shop sections to meet maintenance objectives. Ensures strict adherence to safety protocols and supports company safety policies and procedures. Accurately processes Inventory Adjustment Reports (IARs) for review and approval. Performs additional duties as assigned. Maintains daily timesheets and manning reports, ensuring accuracy in recorded hours.

Qualifications & Experience: The following qualifications are essential for this role:

High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 years of experience in Property Book Accounting and Logistics. 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience is required. Familiarity with GCSS-Army is preferred. Experience with forklifts and material handling equipment is preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Knowledge of the Army retail supply system and established policies is essential. Proficiency in accounting and inventory management practices is necessary. Strong organizational and planning abilities are required. Basic proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary. Advanced English language skills, both oral and written, are required. Must meet and maintain all security access requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials. Must possess or be able to obtain a US Passport.

Additional Requirements:

1) LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

A valid driver's license is mandatory. GCSS-A certification is preferred.

2) PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Capable of stooping, sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently, and more with assistance. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively for up to 48 hours a week. Must be prepared for extended hours, including overtime as required.

3) WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The role requires frequent walking, sitting, and using hands for various tasks. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color perception. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and potentially hazardous situations. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud. May be required to deploy on missions at the direction of management.
