Specialist Physician in Hospital Hygiene

Position: Medical Specialist in Hygiene and Environmental Medicine
- Qualified specialist in "Hygiene and Environmental Medicine" or a physician with recognized additional training in "Hospital Hygiene" as per the standards set by the Federal Medical Association (200 hours)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to persuade and assert in various situations
Key Responsibilities - aligned with the hygiene and infection prevention regulations:
- Provide expert support and guidance to the medical director and hospital administration on matters related to hygiene
- Formulate and refine hygiene protocols and policies
- Monitor and analyze hospital-acquired infections (e.g., utilizing KISS) and resistant pathogens (MRSA, VRE, MRGN)
- Implement Antibiotic Stewardship: Offer consultation on anti-infective treatments in critical care units and other vulnerable areas, develop internal guidelines for anti-infective therapy, and engage in the ABS team
- Conduct hospital hygiene audits – ensure adherence to hygiene protocols
- Facilitate hygiene training initiatives across all departments
- Engage in the hygiene committee activities
