Key Responsibilities:
- Executing priming and painting tasks for components and assemblies within a manufacturing setting
- Monitoring expiration dates, ensuring completeness, and identifying any damages
- Assessing availability of parts and materials, and reporting any shortages
- Preparing and configuring test and painting fixtures
- Preparing materials and surfaces in accordance with specified guidelines
- Diagnosing and resolving operational issues
- Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning duties
- Utilizing solvent-based cleaners for part cleaning
- Applying adhesion promoters following manufacturer specifications
- Thawing and mixing sealant materials as necessary
- Positioning and covering components as instructed
- Operating the sealant application gun
- Applying sealants to various components
- Smoothing sealants using appropriate tools
- Performing visual inspections and transporting components for curing
- Adhering to detailed instructions for each task
Required Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training in Painting and Coating Technology or a related field
- Extensive experience in surface coating, treatment, and spray painting
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift schedule and engage in overtime as needed
- Detail-oriented and methodical work style
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
