About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our server product teams and drive the further development of our server products. As Head of Server Operations, you will be responsible for the worldwide operation of our Windows and Linux server systems, as well as the continuous optimization and automation of operational processes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Disciplinary management of the Windows and Linux Server product teams
  • Strategic and future-oriented further development of the server products in close cooperation with both product owners
  • Ensuring the worldwide operation of Windows and Linux server systems as well as the continuous optimization and automation of operational processes
  • Responsibility for planning and adherence to budgets as well as the development of savings potentials
  • Proactive supplier management and selection of strategic partners
  • Targeted and active further development of employees

Your Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualification
  • Proven track record in leading and developing infrastructure teams
  • Strong customer orientation as well as strong communication and organizational skills
  • High degree of innovative ability and willingness to change
  • Experience in the field of IT infrastructure, ideally in the operation of server systems
  • Initial experience with agile working methods in the SAFe framework is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Strong results orientation, problem-solving skills, and assertiveness
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial way of thinking and working
