Project Coordinator in R&D

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage product development initiatives (mechanical and mechatronic) with a focus on timelines, budget, and quality while adhering to specifications.
  • Facilitate collaboration among project teams in alignment with departmental leadership.
  • Organize and lead project team meetings and workshops effectively.
  • Prepare decision-making documents (e.g., make-or-buy analyses).
  • Coordinate with both national and international development collaborators.
  • Manage inter-location dependencies, timelines, and financial plans in conjunction with product management and other departments.
  • Recognize and evaluate potential opportunities and risks.
  • Execute selected optimization, organizational, and preliminary development projects.
  • Generate project documentation and prepare presentations for relevant stakeholders and senior management (steering committee, department heads, executive board).

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Computer Science, or alternatively, Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering, or substantial experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Proactive and communicative team player with extensive experience in project management within technical product development.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Design Thinking).
  • Preferably experienced with ERP systems (e.g., IFS).
  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, creativity, initiative, structured and analytical thinking, along with excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Professional demeanor and confident presentation skills.
  • Strong abilities in delivering presentations.
