Raisin GmbH is in the process of establishing a comprehensive Group Internal Audit function aimed at assisting Management in safeguarding the organization's assets, reputation, and long-term viability. Your Key Responsibilities- Execution of IT Audits: Carry out IT audits in accordance with the annual audit schedule, concentrating on adherence to BAIT, MaRisk, and pertinent IT standards and frameworks. You will also have the opportunity to shape and develop the audit function within Raisin GmbH.
- Compliance and Risk Evaluation: Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT controls, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Reporting and Recommendations: Draft comprehensive reports detailing audit findings, suggest enhancements, and oversee the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Engagement with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including IT, risk management, and compliance teams, to ensure alignment on IT governance and compliance matters.
- Management of Audit Projects: Oversee and coordinate internal and external IT-related audits, ensuring timely and thorough execution of audit plans.
- Technological Expertise: Utilize advanced technologies such as AWS, Splunk, and Atlassian to conduct audits and enhance the internal control environment.
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in IT auditing, risk management, or compliance (e.g., CISA, CISSP, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Professional Background: A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT audits, governance, risk, and compliance, preferably within the international financial services sector. Familiarity with outsourcing/ICT service provider management/audit is advantageous.
- Regulatory Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of BaFin-specific regulations, including BAIT, MaRisk, and EBA guidelines. Practical experience with international frameworks such as ISO 2700x, ITIL v4, and COBIT is beneficial.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in utilizing cloud-native technology stacks, AWS, Splunk, and Atlassian tools.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder management and the ability to mediate effectively between differing interests.
- Proficient in English. Knowledge of German and other European languages is a plus.
