Project Management Officer

Your Role
- Collaborate with workstream leaders and project supervisors within the FIT4 initiative at ZEISS Vision Care and the Corporate FIT4 Program.
- Oversee and guide the advancement of project workstreams in the global FIT4 initiative within ZEISS Vision Care.
- Develop project standards, methodologies, and templates to ensure consistent management of the program.
- Educate and mentor the project team on methodologies and standards relevant to the FIT4 initiative.
- Formulate comprehensive plans and timelines in partnership with Project Managers and Program Management.
- Conduct risk evaluations and support the creation of mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate governance to ensure alignment of specifications, standardization, and customization requirements.
- Manage work packages within functional or regional workstreams when feasible.
- Oversee project and process documentation.
- Implement enhancements for improved practices.
- Provide updates on project status and track project tasks to enable informed decision-making by program leadership and relevant workstream sponsors.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Develop a thorough understanding of ZEISS Vision Care's business operations, processes, and systems.
- Cultivate a wide network across various functions and regions within ZEISS Vision Care.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Program Management Officer.
- 3-5 years of expertise in Change Management and Project Management methodologies.
- Proven experience in leading process transformation projects.
- Ability to navigate a complex web of responsibilities in a multi-functional, multi-regional corporate program.
- Strong project management skills, analytical abilities, and a proactive mindset.
- Proficient in stakeholder management, simplifying complexities, and providing mentorship.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- A systematic approach to work.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
