Automation Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics and layouts using advanced CAD tools.
- Assist in the factory testing of PLC and visualization software.
- Develop control system configuration databases for assigned projects based on design inputs.
- Ensure the quality of electrical installations on-site and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaborate with electrical installation supervisors and subcontractors.
- Conduct tests to verify the basic functionality of control software, enabling ASRS to operate in standalone mode.
- Integrate ASRS control systems with external subsystems, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Support site-wide commissioning activities until final acceptance by the client.
- Document all software commissioning test results in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide feedback to engineering teams to facilitate necessary amendments to control system designs.
Qualifications:
- A degree or relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.
- Professional degree level education in a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role, with familiarity in electrical installation processes, CAD tools, and PLC programming (preferred but not mandatory).
- A strong passion for automation, engineering, and technological advancements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous personal development.
- Willingness to travel internationally, with up to 80% of time spent at customer sites.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- A valid driving license is required.
