Risk Governance Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Risk Governance team in the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) department. As an intern, you will play a key role in assisting the team in monitoring the overall risk profile of Deutsche Börse Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Program Management team in coordinating meetings, preparing supporting documents, and writing meeting minutes.
  • Support the team in tracking and consolidating project status reports and other administrative tasks.
  • Analyze and evaluate project effort estimates based on functional requirements.
  • Gain insights into agile project management (SCRUM methodology) and governance of SAP projects from the business side.
  • Support in testing SAP applications.
  • Contribute to the specification, planning, development, and enhancement of different SAP modules for Risk, Audit, or Compliance.

About You

We are looking for a student with a strong academic background in economics, business studies, business informatics, mathematics, engineering, or other relevant fields. Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in the financial sector.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a regular student at a state-recognized university.
  • Completed at least 2 semesters with a study focus in a relevant field.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and experience in SAP or tools like Jira or SharePoint.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. German is an asset.
