As an internal service provider, we manage numerous critical functions for the Group, ranging from IT and Finance to HR, Legal, and Compliance. This enables us to facilitate efficient operations for the brands under Groupe SEB, ensuring their continued success.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In the capacity of Director of IT Infrastructure, you will spearhead the digital transformation initiatives within the DACH region, guaranteeing the smooth functioning of our IT systems. Collaborating with your team, you will provide innovative solutions, enhance operational processes, and maintain the highest standards of IT security. Your contributions will help establish a resilient IT framework, bolstering Groupe SEB's competitive advantage.

  • Lead and manage a team of approximately 25 professionals, along with external service providers.
  • Oversee and maintain a comprehensive server environment, including numerous virtual servers on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Supervise first and second level support for a wide range of end devices.
  • Strategically plan and manage the IT budget, optimizing expenditures through effective resource allocation and service contract oversight.
  • Coordinate local infrastructure projects and collaborate on global initiatives within Groupe SEB.
  • Ensure the stability and security of local network infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with various departments and locations to enhance IT service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to global policies and guidelines, particularly regarding IT security.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to protect the IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals, ensuring robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation within the IT team and evaluate new technologies to improve IT services.
  • Lead and facilitate change initiatives within IT and across the organization.

Qualifications for Success

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in a similar position, preferably in an international context.
  • Proficient in managing Windows and Linux servers, network administration, and IT security protocols.
  • Proven experience in client management and support, with strong leadership capabilities and a successful track record in managing complex projects.
  • Ability to drive innovation and lead transformative processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
