Senior Application Engineer

Position Overview
As a Senior Application Engineer within the Technical Marketing division, you will engage in a global capacity, delivering extensive support and detailed technical insights to our clientele. The primary focus will revolve around automotive communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Offer in-depth technical knowledge and assistance to customers, internal teams, and business partners.
- Conduct product training sessions and workshops.
- Facilitate the market launch of Renesas MCU products in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Build a comprehensive technical understanding of our offerings and automotive standards related to communication interfaces.
- Contribute to technical Requests for Quotation (RfQs) alongside key customers and internal teams, emphasizing critical product requirements.
- Deliver demonstrations and create application notes.
- Travel to meet customers and business partners as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in microcontrollers and associated ecosystems.
- Proficient understanding of MCU architecture.
- Knowledge of automotive communication standards and their application, particularly CAN and Ethernet.
- Experience in embedded software and/or hardware development.
- Preferred experience includes measurement, debugging, and problem analysis in customer projects.
- Strong ability to comprehend technical requirements and customer expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and capability to thrive in a multicultural setting.
- Possession of a valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country is essential.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; proficiency in German is advantageous.
- Competence in standard PC applications (MS-Office).
