IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to become a vital part of our team at OECHSLER. If you are enthusiastic about technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and replacement of IT client devices
  • Management of client hardware within the online leasing system
  • Handling service requests and incidents through the service management platform, including prioritization, classification, and documentation
  • Providing assistance in 1st-level support as required
  • Maintaining asset and master data in the Configuration Management Database
  • Supporting the processes of goods receipt and dispatch, along with warehouse management in the IT domain
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new employees from an IT perspective
  • Offering user support for hardware and software, including conducting training sessions for IT users during onboarding
  • Managing Service Workplace Operations
Requirements:
  • Completed training as an IT specialist, industrial manager, or a related qualification
  • Strong knowledge of standard software and hardware
  • Proficiency in English at a B2 level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Experience with networks, access controls, permissions, end-user devices, operating systems, applications, Office/Office365, and Mobile Device Management
  • Hands-on approach and collaborative spirit
  • Analytical thinking skills
