About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Community Strategist to join our Global Publishing Team at Level Infinite, a global gaming brand under Tencent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and leading global community programs across several Level Infinite titles, in various stages of game development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Management: Collaborate with studio community teams to establish community infrastructure as games progress through Alpha and Beta development. Monitor conversations and content, respond promptly to hot topics and trends, and adjust strategy based on community feedback.
  • Build Testing Communities: Work with Studio leads and Global Publishing teams to recruit early adopter players for game testing phases - Alpha, Beta, EA, launch. Develop community portals to house these players' communities, growing them as the game progresses to launch. Design reward systems to encourage player participation and nurture these communities through to launch.
  • Partner Strategy: Partner with streaming platforms on activations (Twitch drops). Track and report major issues and opportunities for each game's community in a timely manner and engage key stakeholders. Create and host community events. Collaborate with studio/lead testing programs with community.
  • Influencer Strategy: Work with Studio teams to identify, suggest, and amplify relevant influencers for each title. Design, implement, and measure influencer programs in collaboration with Studios, Global/Regional publishing, and Agency partners. Directly responsible for outreach to and management of top-tier influencers, building and managing relationships through ongoing communication.
  • Regional Amplification: In close collaboration with Regional publishing teams, lead the localization of our global content strategy, support local activations, and report on results to inform global planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and above. Excellent spoken and written English.
  • 8 years+ of audience/community management experience. Proven experience in building communities through the early stages of game development and testing, and leading them through to launch and beyond.
  • Experience running community campaigns on major content platforms, especially YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
  • A real passion for the games industry with genuine interest and knowledge in games. Ability to empathize with the varied needs of different player types.
  • Able to communicate and work closely with cross-functional teams, adapt to different time zones, and respond to team requests in a timely manner.
  • Organized and with very good project management skills. Able to prioritize effectively and handle multiple programs across multiple markets.
  • High levels of initiative, energy, ownership, and urgency.
  • Capability to travel to support our partners in North-America, Western Europe, or Asia.
