As a Lead Java Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Development of Java Microservices within a Kubernetes environment.
- Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Processing real-time data from interconnected devices (applications, vehicles, bicycles, traffic signals, public transport) utilizing an event-driven architecture (Kafka).
- Engaging in collaborative discussions regarding new solutions and troubleshooting.
- Ensuring quality assurance, support, and comprehensive documentation of our software.
To qualify for this role, you should possess:
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent professional IT experience.
- Multiple years of hands-on experience with Java.
- Familiarity with some of the following technologies is advantageous: Spring Boot, Quarkus, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, PostgreSQL/Oracle, Kafka, GIT, Maven.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
