Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our stationary energy storage projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle, from site development to handover to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the project from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-sensitive delivery of tasks and milestones.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with various stakeholders, including landowners, contractors, and vendors.
- Permitting and Compliance: Manage the permitting process for building permits and grid connections, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Site Assessment: Assess site conditions, environmental impact, and technical requirements to ensure project feasibility.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and manage external stakeholders, including EPC contractors, landowners, and government agencies.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication across all parties involved in the project.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and presentations.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in project development/management, preferably in the energy or renewable energy sector.
- Skills: Proven track record in managing energy storage or similar infrastructure projects, in-depth knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory compliance, solid understanding of stationary energy storage systems and related technologies.
- Language: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills (English and German spoken and written).
