About the Job:
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team in Bremen, Germany. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our satellite projects, working closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal system architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical management, coordination, and control over security engineering activities
- Control, planning, specification, and verification of function and performance of security-related systems
- Critical review and analysis of customer security requirements and flow down of security requirements to subsystem and equipment level
- Technical coordination of security-related tasks with customer, subcontractors, and internal technical disciplines
- Provide input for progress reports and meetings and contribute to project risk management in regards to security matters
- Define test specifications for security tests and verification in alignment with AIT operation plans
- Support security-related preparations of satellite tests and test reviews as well as on-site support of launch and flight phases
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent
- Professional experience in satellite design advantageous
- Good conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
- High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
- Team-minded and ideally accustomed to work in internationally composed teams
- Fluency in both spoken and written English, German language skills highly desirable
