About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Channel Manager to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a Channel Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans to drive sales growth and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts, including drugstore and health non-food assortments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement merchandising programs, including product assortments, pricing, and promotional strategies
  • Forecast sales and monitor results through regular meetings with management and other functions
  • Prepare and present sales analysis and product strategies to account meetings
  • Develop and implement merchandising programs, including product assortments and pricing
  • Visit assigned stores to evaluate overall assortment, monitor competitive activity, and make recommendations to drive growth
  • Work collaboratively with Trade Marketing and other functions to develop and present initiatives and manage the P&L

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of wholesale experience, preferably in the German retail landscape
  • Proven track record with Key Account Management, with a focus on drugstore/health/non-food assortments
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
  • Retail math literacy and application of concepts to daily operations
  • Strong financial acumen, with a functioning understanding of P&L
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong business and project management skills
  • Account Management skills, including establishing productive relationships, strong presentation and negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and ability to interpret corporate strategies into trade activation programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Highly motivated self-starter individual, with career growth aspirations, and the ability to operate independently, manage multiple projects in parallel, and create functional structures
  • German and English required
