Senior Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ops Engineer to join our team at FLOYT Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure and hybrid IT architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure components for our services and databases on AWS.
- Collaborate with our development and architecture teams to create solutions for hybrid IT architecture.
- Support the migration of existing services and creation of new services on Public Cloud providers (primarily AWS).
- Maintain on-premise infrastructure, including servers and network switches.
- Establish a comprehensive monitoring and alerting system.
- Optimize resources, services, and costs continuously.
- Experience in provisioning, monitoring, and operating infrastructure in AWS and hybrid environments.
- At least one successful established project in AWS Cloud in your recent past.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining Linux systems and services, and/or network devices in on-premise environments.
- Good knowledge of Linux and a profound understanding of network protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Experience in using Terraform (and Terragrunt desirable).
- A 'Team player' attitude and willingness to become an ops expert in a Scrum development team.
- Good English Skills, as this is our team language.
- Desirable: organizational Information security skills (NIS-2, ISO-27001).
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure and GCP provisioning & experience in Kubernetes.
