Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Site Installation Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing optimized implementation concepts and coordinating installation activities on site. You will manage and advise a team of qualified specialists and technicians, ensuring compliance with processes, procedures, and requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the technically correct, timely, and cost-effective installation of traction power supply components.
- Accept work carried out by third parties and review corresponding site documentation.
- Coordinate interfaces between various technical and non-technical partners and define opportunity and risk measures.
- Review installation costs, compare them with project cost data, and inform project management and stakeholders of cost overruns at an early stage.
- Support tendering and awarding of installation contracts to third parties by improving technical documentation and providing expert support during contract and amendment management.
- Develop and implement tangible execution concepts, taking into account risk minimization and cost reduction.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering field with electrical engineering content.
- Many years of relevant experience in projects in the field of traction current electrification, power generation, or high-voltage direct current transmission.
- Experience with Siemens or comparable railroad electrification systems and associated equipment.
- Expertise in project planning and development, as well as team leadership in the field of construction site or technical project management.
- Intercultural experience through stays abroad and a willingness to travel up to 50% worldwide.
- Fluency in English and ideally speak German well.
