  • Overseeing and managing network services for Siemens internal stakeholders, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Proactively engaging with service providers to guarantee top-tier service quality, fostering innovation, enhancing efficiency, and swiftly resolving issues.
  • Leading and coordinating a team of external Service Managers from various network providers, ensuring strong partnerships and effective delivery.
  • Evaluating risks and independently formulating suitable measures to mitigate them.
  • Effectively communicating service-related matters to various stakeholders, including management, to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Working closely with the network architecture team to maintain consistency and integration of network solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with overall IT objectives, promoting a cooperative environment.
  • Monitoring network performance and identifying improvement opportunities, driving continuous enhancement.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Staying updated on trends and advancements in LAN technology, applying innovations to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Acting as the primary contact for CxOs within the IT organization, identifying key talents and defining solutions for the IT roadmap.
  • Serving as a trusted advocate for the business within the IT organization, ensuring IT strategies align with business objectives.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of business value by delivering innovative IT solutions that help achieve business targets more effectively.
  • Promoting and advocating for overarching projects and services, demonstrating their value to stakeholders.
  • Supporting IT Partner Managers, IT Business Consultants, and IT Project Managers with authoritative insights and mentorship.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of the Service Group Local Connectivity, providing strategic updates and insights.
Our ideal candidate will possess...
  • A Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, along with extensive experience in IT.
  • More than 5 years of experience managing network operations, particularly in LAN and WLAN services and solutions. Familiarity with WAN technology is a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local connectivity network infrastructure and management platforms (e.g., Aruba or Cisco).
  • Demonstrated experience in the technical management of international network teams, showcasing strong leadership and coordination abilities.
  • A solid understanding of Service Management and ITIL processes, ensuring efficient IT service delivery.
  • A technical background, preferably with experience in the technology sector, ideally focused on network services.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential. Proficiency in German is advantageous.
