About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team at Juit GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in architecting, developing, and maintaining a scalable and reliable backend for our ERP system.

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot backend code for performance and scalability, ensuring smooth operation of our ERP applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to improve the quality and performance of our application, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide technical assistance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience as a backend developer.
  • Experience with AWS services, especially AWS Lambda.
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture and best practices, with a focus on AWS Lambda deployment.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in difficult situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaboration and teamwork with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Training in algorithms and data structures is an advantage (e.g., an IT degree).
  • Fluent English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
