Torden LLC is in search of skilled linguistic professionals to deliver essential language support services for intelligence operations aimed at enhancing ongoing, real-world missions. As a Senior Hausa Linguist, your primary responsibility will involve the processing of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) data. This program operates continuously, requiring linguists to be assigned to specific work shifts that may rotate throughout the year. Your mission assignments will be determined by the needs of the government and the specific missions at hand. This role necessitates relocation overseas.


Key Qualifications:
  • Proficient interpretation and transcription skills in Hausa
  • Ability to interpret between the target language dialect and English (ILR Level 3)
  • Working proficiency in English (ILR Level 3)
  • Proven capability in accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • Ability to think swiftly and collaborate effectively in a professional environment
  • Comprehension of essential speech in standard dialects with a broad vocabulary
  • Capacity to accurately follow conversations among educated native speakers
  • Understanding of radio broadcasts, news reports, oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical topics.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access
  • All candidates must successfully complete a U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening and polygraph to secure a TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
* Federal regulations stipulate that all applicants for this position must be U.S. citizens.* Preference will be given to candidates with active security clearances, recent CI interviews, and current polygraphs.
