About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team at AIM Agile IT Management GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring efficient and effective internal processes.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, implementing security measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Support the deployment of new technologies and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Perform backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Install and configure software and hardware, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in server configuration and administration, with a strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with container technologies and network protocols.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure administration, preferably AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of network security and IT security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
