Join Our Team as a Trainee IT System Engineer Mainframe

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee IT System Engineer Mainframe. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of IT system engineering and mainframe development.

About the Role

The Trainee IT System Engineer Mainframe will be responsible for supporting the agile transformation of our company, ensuring that our IT systems are future-proof and efficient. You will work closely with our development team to design, develop, and test central mainframe and z/OS applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of mainframe and z/OS applications
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and functionalities
  • Test and debug applications to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of applications
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts and data structures
  • Experience with mainframe development and z/OS is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
