Global Engineering Director

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Director to lead our global engineering team in the design and development of professional audio products.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, with a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market within cost targets and tight timescales.
They will provide clear direction and leadership to engineering managers and staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
The Director will collaborate closely with product management to define new products and ensure effective integration into the market in various global locations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the global engineering team in the design and development of professional audio products
- Provide strategic leadership to accelerate and manage new product development
- Collaborate with product management to define new products and ensure effective integration into the market
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering team
- Manage departmental operational costs and finances for new product development
The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of manufacturing principles and process control, along with experience in managing large engineering teams with direct and indirect reports.
They must be willing to travel internationally, as this role involves significant interaction with key stakeholders across various locations.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential, as the Director will communicate with internal stakeholders, management, manufacturing, offshore engineering teams, external partners, and vendors.
