Position Title: Technical Sales Consultant

Role Overview: In the capacity of a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in propelling our sales initiatives by merging technical knowledge with effective sales strategies. You will work in close partnership with our sales and engineering departments to grasp client needs, deliver technical solutions, and guarantee the smooth integration of our offerings into customer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Client Requirements: Interpret client needs into detailed proposals that encompass development projects and commercial delivery phases, ensuring alignment with relevant internal teams.
  • Customization Initiatives: Develop standard platform solutions and tailored projects based on client specifications.
  • Project Support: Address the commercial aspects of modifications to assist ongoing projects and maintain established client relationships.
  • Sales Assistance: Oversee the quotation process through to deal closure, coordinating contract negotiations and supporting the sales team during in-person or virtual discussions.
  • Project Management: Facilitate the integration of secured projects within the organization and initiate execution with the appropriate teams.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Education: A technical degree or equivalent training with relevant technical comprehension.
  • Industry Insight: Familiarity with the medical technology and/or pharmaceutical sectors, particularly in drug delivery systems, is advantageous.
  • Professional Background: At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Project Leadership: Initial experience in leading development projects is beneficial.
  • Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of commercial principles and sales experience in B2B environments.
  • Global Business Experience: Ideally, experience in managing international business relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience in multicultural team settings, demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and Solution-Focused: A self-motivated and solution-oriented approach will contribute to the candidate's success.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in the Microsoft Office suite and comfortable utilizing CRM systems.
